PlayStation Portable Price Guide

PlayStation Portable, better known as PSP is a great gadget. If it has a custom firmware, you should be able to watch movies as well as to listen to music. As great as it is, it is also the most over priced gadget in the second hand market where some sellers are selling it as high as 4000 pesos, almost the same price as a second hand PlayStation Vita, its successor.

If not 4000 pesos, then how much should a PSP ought to be? For starters, it would depend on the package and it would depend on the model.

PSP Street (PSP E1000) is the most expensive. The package should be around 2000 to 2500 pesos. You should not spend more than than, if you want to get lower than than then pawnshops are your friend. PSP Street in pawnshops is only 1800 to 2000 pesos.

PSP Go should be around 1500 to 2000 pesos. Much expensive than the other models but should not be more expensive than the Street. However, Go is harder to find so that might contribute to its second hand market price of 2000 pesos.

PSP 2000 and 3000 should not exceed 1500 pesos. They are the better version of the series but they are also very common. You can always find them in pawnshop's auctions for 1500 pesos, complete set and everything.

PSP 1000 should really be around 1000 pesos. The earliest version and honestly the worst.

Don't be fooled by sellers in facebook groups that are selling their PSPs for 3000 pesos. Keep your money and wait for a pawnshop's aunction or wait for a bargain. Sooner or later, you can catch a cheaper PSP.
